Kathmandu– Nepal Ambassador to Pakistan Mr. Tapas Adhikari paid a courtesy call on the Senator Dr. Shahzad Waseem, Leader of House at his chamber in the Parliament of Pakistan in Islamabad. During the call on, they discussed the matters related to Nepal-Pakistan relations, SAARC and regional cooperation and ways to further strengthen it.
Similarly, Ambassador also paid a courtesy call on Sardar Muhammad Israr Tareen, Convener of the Pakistan-Nepal Parliamentary Friendship Group at the Parliament of Pakistan. Pakistan-Nepal Parliamentary Friendship Group is a 106-member friendship group of Lower House of Pakistan.
During the call on, they discussed the matters related to Nepal-Pakistan bilateral relations, cooperation between two parliaments, bilateral trade, investment, tourism, cultural cooperation and bilateral exchanges between two countries to further strengthen the relations.
